Description:Kellogg Community Credit Union (KCCU) has an exciting opportunity for a Vice President of Information Technology to join our leadership team!
As Vice President of Information Technology, you will oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and management of the credit union's technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business continuity initiatives. You will work closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and other senior leaders to ensure that KCCU remains at the forefront of technology, security, and efficiency. Leading a high-performing IT team, you will drive innovation, enhance member and employee experiences, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities:Technology Strategy & Leadership:

• Collaborate with the CTO and senior leadership to develop and execute a long-term IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Define IT goals, KPIs, and best practices to ensure operational excellence.
• Stay informed on emerging technology trends to enhance digital services for members and staff.Cybersecurity, Compliance & Business Continuity:
  • Strengthen disaster recovery, cybersecurity protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee risk management, system security, and incident response strategies.
  • Ensure IT policies align with state and federal regulations.Operational Efficiency & IT Infrastructure:
    • Evaluate, enhance, and manage core IT systems, networks, and cloud-based solutions.
    • Ensure IT operations run efficiently with minimal downtime.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT documentation, including compliance and security protocols.Vendor & Budget Management:
      • Negotiate cost-effective contracts for IT infrastructure, software, hardware, and services.
      • Manage the IT budget, aligning investments with the credit union's strategic vision.Team Leadership & Development:
        • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team.
        • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.Requirements:
          • 8-10 years of IT leadership experience, preferably in financial services or a regulated industry.
          • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus).
          • Strong experience in IT governance, risk management, and cybersecurity frameworks.
          • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop teams.
          • Excellent decision-making and analytical skills, with a focus on problem-solving and innovation.
          • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical strategies into business value.
