Job Description:
Job Description In Command, Control, Communications, Computers,
Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems,
you'll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and
disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a
variety of missions. We are looking for a Quality Engineering
Intern to Support Fort Wayne Airborne Tactical Radio Quality team.
You must be a self-starting problem solver who will utilize your
analytical skills to find innovative solutions to quality-related
issues. Strong communication skills are essential to understand
requirements and expectations, make progress reports and present
findings. Intern Responsibilities:
Engage in First Article Inspections &
Source InspectionsAssist in conducting Root Cause and Corrective
ActionsReview current command media and provide suggestions for
updates and process improvementsUnderstand Quality standards and
proceduresParticipate and interact with other interns in sector
wide activities. Develop understanding of BAE Systems Quality
Management System. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations
and Engineering. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Pursuing
a Bachelor's Degree and on course to graduate in 2026, 2027, or
2028 in a technical field including (but not limited to):
Industrial EngineeringSystems
EngineeringSoftware - Computer Science Computer EngineeringHardware
- Mechanical, ElectricalEngineering ManagementMathematics Physics
Information Systems Quality ManagementPreferred Education,
Experience, & Skills
Outstanding communication skills
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership experience Capacity and
motivation for hard work Experience in defense electronics
industryFamiliarity with Lean and Six Sigma practicesKnowledge of
Quality Management SystemsRelevant quality certificationsTechnical
internships/co-opsExperience with Agile Development Exposure to ISO
9001, CMMI, or AS9100Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $36540
- $49320Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
experience.Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE
Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k)
savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are
eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and
